September Inspiration from America!

yonnie400

Hello, wonderful readers!

September has been a whirlwind of adventure for me and my husband (because, of course, I can’t leave him out!). As an author with a passion for the great outdoors, I’m thrilled to share how two spectacular places—Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park—have sparked my imagination and will undoubtedly influence my writing.

Yellowstone is the first ever national park. It’s over 150 years old! This park is famous for its incredible geothermal features, like the famous Old Faithful geyser, which erupts every 90 minutes. Imagine standing there and feeling the ground shake as hot water shoots high into the sky—a reminder of the raw power that lies beneath the surface!

Yellowstone is also home to amazing animals, like bison roaming the plains, their shaggy coats gleaming in the sunlight. Elk graze near the rivers, while wolves and bears roam the backcountry, embodying the wild spirit of this incredible place. Each encounter with these magnificent creatures feels like stepping into a story waiting to unfold.

Just south of Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons rise like monsters from the earth. These mountains are so cool with their sharp, jagged peaks that look like a giant’s hand must have carved them.

There are so many trails to hike through the stunning landscape, leading to crystal-clear lakes and viewpoints that take your breath away. The beauty of these mountains has given me ideas for stories begging to capture their magic.

Nature has a way of igniting our imagination, urging us to step outside and discover the adventures that await beyond our doorstep. So grab your boots and pack your curiosity, and embark on a journey, then share your adventure!

Happy hiking!
